We feed the wild birds on the property with made up sugar water. these jugs are really great. I make up 4 -2litre jugs of sugar water. 2litres of luke warm water and 1 lb of white sugar in a plastic 2 litre round jug, stir till disolved then pour into the tall jug. clip on top. having a pourer makes it very easy, to pour small amounts into shallow dishes to feed the wax eyes, and other little birds. they love it. Even using these jugs for pouring into the sugar water feeder for Tui's and bellbirds. Graet .
