1   Shopping on line

1.1   Do I have to register to order online?
Yes, you will be asked to register online with Storage Box if you wish to purchase from our website.  You can register by clicking on Login near the top of the page on the right hand side.  

1.2   Are all products on the site able to be bought online?
Some products aren't available to be bought online as they are difficult to freight.  However, we are continually adding products to our website that can be bought online.  You are welcome to contact your nearest Storage Box store if there is something else you may require.  The availability of each product is indicated by a Add to cart button if this is not available on the website this will say Available in store only.

1.3   Will I only receive part of my order, if some products are not available?
Your nearest Storage Box store will contact you, if your order cannot be completed.

1.4   Does Storage Box do back orders?
While we do everything we can to make sure our stock levels are accurate at all times there may be occasions due to circumstances where we are unable to full fill your order or source a replacement product.  If this should occur your nearest store will contact you.  Please note that we cannot offer a backorder or rain check facility.

1.5   Can I pick up an order up from my nearest Storage Box store?
Yes, if there is a store in your area.  Otherwise shipping will need to be charged.

1.6   I need a spare part for a product I purchased at Storage Box
Some spare parts are available through your local store.  Please contact the store which you received your order from.

1.7   How do I cancel or amend my order?
If for any reason you need to cancel or change your order, please call Support Office with your order number Immediately on
09 271 1025.  Our system is designed to fill orders and get them on their way to you as quickly as possible; the sooner we hear from you, the better!

1.8   How do I view my previous orders / find invoices?
In your account details Login you will see your order history.

1.9   Can I make an order by phone?
Yes, please contact your nearest Storage Box store.

1.10   Do price’s shown include GST?
All prices listed online are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST.

1.11   What is BPA free plastic?
Some products on our website are labelled as "BPA free plastic" This is plastic made free of Bisphenol A.

2   Delivery

2.1   How much will delivery cost?
The standard delivery cost is $6.50 including GST per order.   Rural delivery is $13.00 per order.  The delivery cost is displayed where you choose your shipping option upon your purchase when completing the checkout process.  If your order is very large or your delivery address is outside our normal delivery coverage a special delivery cost may be added, in this case we will contact you to discuss the charges and options.  Please note that delivery to Waiheke, Great Barrier, Chatham Islands and Stewart Islands are likely to incur additional costs.

2.2   When will I receive my order?

Provided we have all of your items in stock, if the order is placed before 12 noon we aim for 2 working days on delivery.  Orders received on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday will be processed the following working day and delivered within the next 2 working days.  Rural areas may take up to 4 working days.

2.3   Where is my order? Can I track my order?
If you have received an email saying your order has been shipped you may request for a track & trace on your website order.

2.4   Who delivers my order?
All orders are delivered by your local Fastway Couriers.

2.5   Does Storage Box ship internationally?
No, we only ship to addresses within New Zealand.

2.6   Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?
No, we cannot as we need a signature on delivery.

2.7   Can I set up more than one delivery address?
Yes, you will be able to amend or add a delivery address in the check out process or you can set up multiple delivery addresses in your account when logged in click on tab My addresses.

2.8   If I order more than one item will I be charged extra for delivery?
You will be charged one delivery fee of $6.50 per order.  Unless your order is very large or your delivery address is in a remote area a special delivery cost may be required, if this is the case a store will be in contact with you.

3   My account & password

3.1   I have forgotten my password, what should I do?
Click on Login then enter your email address and click on Forgot your passwordyou will then receive an email to your registered email address with your password.

3.2   How do I find or change my account details?
This can be done by clicking on Login you can then access and change any details you please.

3.3   How do I subscribe / unsubscribe from email?
You can change your email notification settings at any time if you click on Login and then clock on tab
Your personal information.  Simply tick or un-tick the box of the emails you wish to alter.

4   Payment & Security

4.1   Which credit cards to do you accept to pay for my online purchase?
We currently accept Master Card and Visa.

4.2   Do I need to enable cookies on my browser to shop online with Storage Box.
You need to enable cookies on your browser to enjoy all the shopping features at storagebox.co.nz.  A cookie is data that is sent to your browser from a web site and is stored on your computer's hard drive.  If your browser's preferences allow it (most browsers are installed with cookies enabled), each web site can send its own cookie to your browser.  To protect your privacy, cookies do not store personal information but instead use anonymous unique identifiers. Each web site can only access
the cookie they have sent to your hard drive, not the cookies sent by other web sites.

5   Returns

5.1   Can I return a product I've bought online?
Yes - in most cases you can return products you have bought online. Please ensure that the product is in a resalable condition unless faulty or otherwise defective.  Proof of purchase is required in order to get an exchange or a refund and must be returned to the store which supplied your online order.  Please note we will not accept returns if you simply change your mind.

5.2   Will I get a refund for products I return?
Please contact the store that supplied your order, they will help with your refund or exchange request.  Products must be in a resalable condition.  We will not accept refunds if you simply change your mind.

5.3   My product is broken or faulty - what should I do?
Under the Consumer Guarantees Act you are entitled to have your product repaired, replaced or refunded.  Please contact the store which supplied your online order.

5.4   I have received the wrong product - what should I do?
If you have ordered something online and received the wrong product, please contact the store that supplied your online order.
